You can go around to local artists and sell their art work and pottery etc on your own website and take a percentage fee.
I would stay away from business in a box situations. Like SMC and such. however, if you do then check them out with the BBB and by simply seeking reviews on them.
Take something you already like doing and think of ways to create a business around it.
I love to read and write, and I am in the process of writing a book as well as starting my own independent publishing house.
Answer the question: If I never had to worry about money how would I spend my time? The answer to that is what you're looking for.
If you love to shop, you can either become a personal shopper (for individuals or businesses) Or start a blog and critique all of the latest fashions and when you start getting a lot of daily unique visitors, you can sell advertising space. Even set up an on line "resale or consignment shop", and resale things you find at sales or take other peoples items on consignment.

I am a Independent sells Rep for AVON, and I have been doing this for about 6 months now. At first is was really slow, but all business's take time. I just hit my record this campaigne. I started advertising everywhere free, sending out flyers and it has gotten really good and I have fun doing it also. I now have my AVON site and another site that promotes my AVON site and other work from home moms. I think AVON is so great because in my opinion pple like when you have choice's and a variety. We have cosmetics, clothing, kids, mens, and womens accessories. On the other hand when you just sell Tupperware, well that says it all. TUPPERWARE! or if you sell soy candels, you just sell candels. Pple like those things to, but AVON sells all of that also. We even have mineral makeup, which has gotten to be big with some. Direct Sales/Party Plan
I would definitely recommend some type of Direct Sales Home party business. The parent company sets you up with product, sales brochures, pay plans, training, support etc & takes all the risk for you. Usually for a small fee, that includes a kit, you can be in business for yourself in a matter of days. Party plans are a great way to socialize with adults & contribute to your family's finances on your own time schedule too.
Of course, I feel the company I represent is the best. :) Watkins is a great old company, with great products & a great reputation.
