Whatever level you are in education, try as hard as you can to succeed.
If you are still in high school: get the best grades you possibly can
If you are past high school: go to college. Community college is a great way to start. It's cheap, easily accessible and can still provide a great education.
Get the best grades you can in community college in a major of your choice, then go on to a career or grad school.
A good job that requires a degree will pay a ton more than one that doesn't.
Note: If your goal is to be wealthy, may I suggest you major in Chinese. |

Learn how to not want anything you don't need. Realize advertising brainwashes us out of our money. Water. Food. Shelter. In some cases transportation (but you can sometimes work your way out of needing this). Thats really all you need. Only buy clothes if it is absolutely necessary (for example you have to look a certain way for work)Cut back to the absolute basics.
Do whatever you can to get a good education. By any means necessary. Its the best investment you can make. Ive heard estimates that less than 20% of Americans have a college degree. That means competition for unskilled employment is fierce. Having a degree, especially one with a focus in science or math, will put you at a HUGE advantage for high paying jobs. Many employers are desperate for college grads.
Save your money and make wise, well informed investments. |
