That depends on the skills you have outside of the computer. If you don't know about real estate, medical billing and such jobs that can be done at home you have nothing to do.
Many companies still do not want to pay someone to work from home. They yet to figure how to pay someone based on the work they do.
There really aren't that many things to do.
If you have a way to get around and get things you can open an Ebay store selling crafts, garage sale stuff that's unique or people might be interested in. Something like that. |

I thnk about 25% of employees work at home.
Many job descriptions will specify "home office", but others will not mention anything because too many people apply who are not qualified.
Your best bet is to apply for jobs in your field and state in your cover letter that you are looking for home office work. The hiring process is the same, although the face to face interview portion may be conducted in a hotel if they fly to you instead of flying you to their office. |

I am disabled and really want to work. I have a degree in billing and coding and medical office administration. Because of my health problems, I really need to work from home. I need a new high speed computer to do that and I do not have the money to pay for one or get started. I only recieve $674.00 a month in disability and that is not enough to survive on. Can you please help me or send me to someone who can? Susan Mills
