you need to calculate, how much you want to make if you sell the whole basket, what is the (( Return On Investment ))...the things you need to think about is how much it is going to cost you... e.g. if you bought 100 items for $0.5 each, and sell the item for $1 that 100% percent profit... some people don't even bother if the item is expensive or cheap, as long as the price tag is relativly low ..
people like to buy some AMAZING stuff for little money, put you can start by Home Made stuff, like candies, cockies,.. put the problem with food... you really have to sell all of them, otherwise you will end up eating all the basket .. lol ... you can sell Very Tiny Small Toys for kids, stuff that make people cheerful, happy |

I think a good idea for this would be babyshower gift baskets, baby lotion, shampoo, bibs, bottles, etc. But the price would just depend on what and how much you put in it. |

I think it's a good idea.The pricing like all the others said will depend how much it costs you and much you want to make back of what you spent.Lotions,candles,shampoos,baby stuff,for adults or for something that kids might want in there that there parents could buy for them something with crayons,coloring books,colored pencils,small teddy bear.Just something that you think would appeal to either adults or children if there will be any there.I have also included a link that might help you out too!Good Luck and Hope you find what your looking for! |

well just the basket alone would be maybe $5 but with the chocolates (the price depends on how much chocolate is inside the baskets and how big the bear is) maybe....$8 $9 $10 heck it could get up to $15.....but i would say 8 or 9 or 10

People will always love to purchase premade things for others .......it take the work out of it for the gift giver.
Non perishable items work best, for food baskets obviously canned, and packaged goods are best.
you have lots of themes to chose from, for instance, bath, kitchen, food, birthday, anniversary, bedroom etc. So you make a theme basket.
Usually you try to purchase your items in large quantities to keep your costs down.
The normal "mark up" on most things is 30 percent, this figure should cover your over head costs as well as making you a profit in the end.

It depends how much the products cost you. Work out the total cost per basket, and then put a markup on it.
Say if everything in the basket costs you $15 and you want to make around a 30% profit on each basket, charge $20 for them
Look at what other kinds of baskets people are selling... you can sell fruit baskets but then if you don't sell them they'll go bad, so stick with stuff. Probably a basket of shampoo, soap, etc.
But who is really going to buy gift baskets now? Maybe it would have been a better idea before Christmas. |
