You can checkout the work from home web sites for work in your area. A lot of the work will be computer based and routine - like check the grammar & spelling for an author, write a series of articles, data entry, medical transcription, etc.
If you are looking at sticking to cooking - would suggest that you decide what your speciality is going to be - made to order chocolates, pastry chef, home cooked meals, special dinners (eg, romantic meal for two with frills). It is advisable to take a short course at your local college so that you get an idea of how to handle the kitchen professionally. Also attend a short session or meet with the appropriate people in our council to evaluate that you will not be violating local council laws or will meet their requirements. |

If your interest is food why not prepare meals for delivery to elderly, sick, or homebound people - offer food shopping services; package your "winners" and sell them at local delis, sandwich shops, etc. If you make chocolates, cookies or pastries, package them and distribute them to the local gas stations, mom & pop food stores, quick-stops, pharmacies. |

Hi, selling confectioneries is really profitable because it gets consumed fast and there is always a high demand in candies.
Be a distributor first as you'll get commission, (work for someone else)
Or if you have more courage, then buy from wholesalers (just a small amount - even $50 worth) and approach the small shops near schools where there is high traffic of kids. Try it out. |
