If your looking for just some additional income, then I don't think you should look into home based businesses. I think what you need to be looking for is a home based "job". A job working for someone else. You should only be looking for a business if you want the opportunity to make whatever amount of money you want to make with high goals, and achievements. If you just want some extra cash, then google telecommuting positions and apply for a job, not go into business for yourself. I don't know why anyone would want to go into business for themselves and only be looking at low wages. That just doesn't make since to me.
Try googling "telecommuting positions" and include these types of names: data entry, customer service, call centers, problem solving jobs and whatever else you think you could do "working for someone else" not going into business for yourself. Businesses takes time to build, but when they do, 100,000 dollars a year, is not that hard to accomplish. I don't know why you don't want to make at least that, but to each it's own I guess. But the bottom line is, stop looking for home based businesses, and look for home based jobs. |

I completely understand your caution and skepticism, because I recently went through the same thing. I was originally searching for an opportunity to make some extra money because my husband is a full time doctoral student. However, when I found the number one National Health Benefits Company in the U.S, I realized that this opportunity is going to change my life. I made about $45 on mturk.com . It's owned by Amazon, and I've gotten paid, so I'm sure it's legitimate. Just don't expect to make more than $5 an hour, unless you get lucky and find 100 HITs worth 25 cents each that only take a minute. It won't replace your day job, but if you're gonna be browsing the internet anyway, you might as well make a few dollars doing it. |

You would have more luck getting a clerical job first then seeing if they will allow you to work from home. |

Most of them are scam.. they ask for upfront payment and guarantee that you'll cover it in days.. but then they disappear..
elance and guru are good option you can try to explore others as well.

Well if your looking for a company there aren't many of them available online. What has happened is they outsourced to those website programs you see. Well if your looking for a at home job, I have heard of live opps. I know a girl who works at home answering phones for this company, however I have no ideal on the pay. You will have to go through a background check and all that good stuff. I have an at home biz that I have been doing a year. I had to put some money up front, and that was it nothing else out of pocket. All I do is switch people's electric. Email for more info on that if you are interested on that. |

I don't suggest using droppshipping because I have an ebay account, and many others and I'm a power seller. I used droppshipping for years and its not worth it. They don't make the prices low enough for you to make any profit and sometimes you have to watch for fake items, or replicas. There really is to much to worry about with droppshipping. I got an ebook awhile back but I have lost half the pages to it because my computer crashed and it wouldn't make sense to send you half of it. i provided the link for you if you want to purchase it..it may have a money back but not sure. i have many friends who have stores on ebay that use this same method and you make more profit this way. hope it helps.
