You pretty much said it all ... it's your interests and skills that will warrant the best home business for you and what works for one person won't work for someone else. Nobody but you is going to pay you what you're worth so why not develop your own business? What are your strengths ... teaching, writing, selling, computers??? Use those strengths to create the best business you can. Use your contacts as clients and investors. Use your determination to make sure you combine the right product (or service) at the right price at the right time for a win-win situation. Your business needs to either fill a need or create a need. Whatever you decide to do for your business realize you won't be the only one doing it so create a solid business plan that will show you where you are, where you want to go, and how you want to get there. Don't rely on others to pay you what you're worth. Do it yourself. Don't wait for your ship to come in ... Swim out to meet it!!! |

Ugh. A lot of the advice people would give you would be from scam artists. There are a lot of them on these boards.
The best thing to do is to look at what skills you would have to bring to a regular job. Then figure out what those skills would help you with at home.
You can try a regular job with the possibility of telecommuting after you've been doing well for a little while. |

Healthcareer Agents...This was one I was looking at (just wasn't able to pay start up cost.) This is a chance to own and operate your own health care employment/recruitment agency which you could start up at home and eventually expand to an office....Good luck |

There is a bit of a contradiction here. First you say you are looking for a stay at home business, then you asked if any one has a work at home job. The two are quite different so I'm not sure which one you are looking for. I work from home in a home business where there are start up costs but the income potential far surpasses your investment. |

These are my top 10 tips when searching for a telecommuting or work at home job:
1) Know what your skills and experiences are and how they fit with job types.
2) Be sure you know how to spot a scam. Avoid job sites that indicate you can do envelope stuffing, assembly work or similar jobs offerings.
3) Typing, data processing or data entry jobs are extremely difficult to find. Be aware of sites offering a compiled list of those kind of jobs in exchange for a fee.
4) Consider using a paid telecommuting database (specially if looking for work at home jobs).
5) Research the company you are considering to join against the records of consumer advocate institutions like BBB, DSA, etc.
6) Search everyday and get your resume or application in as soon as possible.
7) When searching on the engines or free job sites, use keywords such as “telecommute”, “telecommuting”, “work at home”, “work at home jobs” and “freelance”.
8) Employers are looking for people with skills and experience. They are looking for people who can fill specific jobs.
9) have a professional application submitted as soon as the job is posted.
10) Be persistent.
I hope this helps.

I don't when you asked your question before so I don't know if I answered you.
But if not, here is what I do.
If you live in the Niagara Area (Welland, Fort Erie, St. Catharines, Niagara Falls, etc.) then you can go to 1110 Hansler Road in Welland, Ontario
It is data entry - at home. They pay you by cheque every 2 weeks. You are considered a contract worker. What you do is pick up mail twice a week. I pick up the mail every Tues and deliver it back on Thurs. I pick up another tray of mail on Thurs for Tues delivery. You can pick your days, but you have to stick to those days. I think they also have Mon, Wed and Fri delivery and pickup days too.
The more mail you do, the more you get paid.
I also work a full time job outside the home, so I do the mail when I get home after work.
It is processing rebates for any company that has a rebate.
The customer sends the rebates to a central warehouse in NFNY, then that warehouse sends it to Welland where they contract it out to the home workers.
Bring your resume there to Hansler Rd in Welland, tell them you want to be a home worker - the company is called Continental Promotions and the head office is in Arizona.
They will train you. It is very easy work - just data entry of name, address, ph, email and UPC codes. If you can type you can do it. They will start you off with only 50 pcs of mail to see if it is the right job for you. I now do 1200 pcs a week, but if I didn't work outside the home too I could do more. My friend delivers my mail for me cuz I work days. She does 1800 pcs of mail. so you can do how many you want, you just have to ask, but remember that whatever you bring home to do, you have to bring back finished.
I have been doing this for 2+ years. I make about $480.00/mo but like I said, if you do more, you will make more. It is not much money but it pays some bills for me.
Anyway, it is a legit company.
If you have questions, email me and I will try and answer.
good luck |
