I use SPS not Paypal. SPS is cheaper than Paypal.And won't have any problems like what I wrote for you above. But SPS will beat any quote you give them and get all your equipment or software for processing checks and cards for FREE.Help 24-7. They train you and your employees for free. Always read everything you sign up for. Take care of you and your business.
As far as learning to accept credit card orders the training is free and they walk you through it all. Shop around first and see rates and compare. Look for everything I stated above.

Who is hosting your site? They should have that option. If not, you can alway create a paypal account. They will accept cards for you and put the money into your account with them that you can transfer to your bank. Maybe you should look into using another host. Check out this one. I use them to host my website and they have credit card options. To get a domain name is only $10.00 a year, Yes I meant ten dollars a year! And the monthly fee to host the site and use a shopping cart is $7.00....

You should probably contact Visa and Master Card and ask how you can set it up so the payments can be accepted.

It is not as easy as it sounds. You have to go through your host and see what providers they work with. I use PayPal for all of my processing now. I was previously with someone else but I felt their fees were too high. Check around because fees vary greatly.
