There is a lot of way to advertise either free or at a very low cost online. These are broadly classified into 3 main area. 1) Buy Traffic 2)Build Traffic and 3)Steal Traffic. All of these are trying to get more visitor to visit your websites and eventually know more of your invention and get the products from you.
I normally use (2) and (3) as some of these methods are often free or at a low cost.

get your business written up in a good magazine (or newspaper) and get a website would be your best bet. get on citysearch in your area. make some flyers with 10% off coupons and put them in local businesses, like car washes, salons, cleaners, any place where people stand in line or have to wait and want something to read. |

ask around at local health food stores sometimes they let people sell stuff there and you can leave you business card in the things you make. |

Networking is really important. Join the small business association in your community. Run some promotionals. The smaller newspaper chains will negotiate with you. Perhaps you can contact the senior groups in your community--run some buy one get one free or half off discount. Do you have a website? You can do one by yourself, you don't need to hire a webmaster. Are your products good for young families? Offer some kind of deal, run off coupons and provide them to some local nursery schools. Best of luck to you. The networking is really important. You can't just sit in your store or kiosk. |

Sir, you may not be able to realize the benefits immediately, but you should join our business networking club. You can advertise for free amongst the membership. Another piece of help or benefit you can get is business credit.
With more business credit or lines of credit, you can purchase some really effective advertising for your business like advertising with Time Warner cable tv, maybe a little radio etc.

If the traffic isn't there, then advertising will only give you bursts of traffic when you advertise, they won't change people's traffic patterns. Consider moving again to a better location that has the traffic you need.
Aside from that the net is the cheapest form of advertising nowadays. |
