You can broaden your appeal by offering a total solution. Wash, dry, iron, pick up, and deliver.
Then you leave flyers off at businesses in office buildings, office parks, and standalone businesses, and most importantly condos and apartments.
You might also be able to hand them to people using laundromats. |

Is there a university near by? you can post your ads there... especially if you can get someone to post them inside a residence hall.. |

Well an idea would be to give it a name..eg "ImPRESSed". :-)
as you have a computer, why dont you design some flyers (leaflets and business cards). An idea would be to put them into local shop windows, pubs, clubs notice boards, churches, infact anywhere in your locality that draws crowds. Hey even your local Community Centre or Village Hall.
Another idea would be to approach hotels or boarding houses, a lot of people visiting may want they clothes pressed.
You could also put a search on Google..eg: Where to advertise a small business...see what that brings up.
One last thing, try this link:

make flyers and cover your area.
The postal service delivers them for 3 cents per home
Or you can just deliver them yourself.
Where are you? I could use your services.
I'm a man, therefore I am completely useless when it comes to ironing |

Make flyer's and pass them out. Hang them in local shops etc.
Also make a website with information on it (like prices, what you do, contact information etc.) Take a look on - www.moneyaside.com - in the website section. |

make cute buisness cards and put them in peoples mailboxes or flyers, but buisness cards ppl can hold on to in their wallet, consider going to an area with large house meaning those ppl most likely have office jobs; they have collar shirts that need to be ironed. |

I always thought that a good and unique way of advertising is in the church bulletins.
During mass, many people's minds start wandering and they eventually look at the bulletin. Also, these people may dress up for church so they are in your target market.
Good luck! |

How about a jingle for the radio. Do you have any musician friends? I know radio ads are expensive, but sometimes only one is needed to start word of mouth. Especially if your jingle is a good one. There are pretty cheap jingle companies on the Internet but maybe you can find someone locally who will do it for cheaper. You can also invent other ways to use it other then radio.
Also, go to where there are public bulletin boards. Colleges and old folks homes. Think of all the types of people who can't or don't like to iron and target them.
Good luck with your business! |

You should make some flyers and post them in convenient stores, laundromats etc.. but not without permission. You can also get some business cards made for really cheap to get you started, or just make them yourself. I hope this helps!!! |
