Report them.Activate the recording calls system on your phone, and so when they do that again on you... you can give the tape to the police, and say I want them to stop.Sort it out for me.
But I think they might be doing that because your a girl...?
( If so is even worst )

contact as many businesses as possible and tell them you will allow them to print coupons to your joint on any of their own promos.
This benefits both you and them significantly.
secondly you use direct mail discount incentives to hit the geographical area of your shop...do it over and over and over
the great thing about pizza is...its in high demand...and the great thing about food in general is that "food discounts" get a higher response in direct mail than any other kind.
Bottom line....get the population ordering your pizzas...be insanely agressive about it.

you have competition, its a free world. they cant just start the business they must of applied for permision from authority to have another food outlet in the street. of which you would of had opportunity to object.
their licence expires as will yours you need to get evidence to put forward so you can object to theirs passing next time.
secure your orders by only accepting orders with the numbers not witheld. (if it wont harm your customers take cc payments over the phone.)
keep a log of all incedents.
make sure your place is legal,food hygiene is good also H&S and everyone is legal to work etc.
as for them saying your food is 5hit over the phone, we used to get calls like that all the time. it fades when their business has picked up a bit.
try & find new things for your customers that they dont offer, or even cant offer (some religions restrict what & how they sell food) do a scope of your town. but above all stay good quality in both service & food. |

contact the police and phone company and file phone harassment charges. this is against the law.
the phone company can look at records and know where the call came from and/or put a trace on your line(s) from here out and when another comes it, its traced. then the police show up for the criminal charges.
DO NOT PRANK BACK or you are now in violation of the law as well. |

If it was me, I would make contact with the owner and make sure he/she/they are aware of the situation. Its possible its the employees or a managers wasting time. If it is a situation like that I bet they put an end to the situation immediately. If it continues I would write a letter to the owner and let them know that it has not stop and ask if they could possibly take stronger measures.
I am not sure what "giving evils" are but as far as the prank calls are concerned I would start keeping a log. Hopefully you have caller id. I am not 100% sure, but I believe that prank calls are illegal by the telecommunications act of 1996 if the call is made for the purpose of harassment. Humor is a seperate issue, but considering the competitive nature of your related business and the disruptive nature of the calls I think it might qualify. You really need to check into that further to make sure. If I found this out to be true, I would definately point this out to the other proprietor so he understood the severity of the situation.
Best of luck, this happened to me a few years back and it stopped before I had to take any serious action. I bet if nothing else they get bored with it after a week or so. |

make a prank phone call to them a few times order pizzas to places, what them go out deliver them then realise there is noone, there! they will know not 2 mess with you, or just ring up your phone company and tell them to bloc kthe caller from ringing you xx |
