i want to open a jazz club in the area i live in. this place is loaded with retired military, active military (at least 3 military bases), docters, lawyers, college professors, college students, you name it, this place has em. we have night clubs, gold courses, beach resorts, anything and everything cept sophisticated places for the non partying type to go, and i think a jazz club would be wonderful and successful. but how do i get started? i have no finances for this. what do you think of the idea? any suggestions for the name for the club??

Money should never be an issue if you have the experience to run a club. What you can do is rent out a small hall and market that you will have some Jazz Music Night, and see how well it is received before diving into something with alot of overhead.

opening a jazz club is a wonderful idea. getting started.....humh i believe u can take out loans.actually there are books at the local library,and online books that will guide u so your business will be successful. also vote for republican party for endurance and profit of the company(lol) |

your idea is great. maybe you should get a partner that's willing to put the financing (money), otherwise you'll have to try to get a bank loan (good luck with that). but if there's a will there's a way, so just think about it thoroughly and plan it carefully. you don't wanna just jump in without giving it some carefull consideration.
as to the name for the club, how about "all that jazz" or maybe "just jazz" |

Why don't look for a JV or get your idea online and ask someone for partnership. There are a number of ways to get started with your idea on a website.

if you sort out a business plan that covers everything you just wrote including estimates on the cost for the building and furnishings and estimate the number of people you think would go there (you can do this by a simple questionnaire passed out to the type of people you are interested in attracting to you club) then take this to a bank they have business loans and ad visors who will help you by telling you what you would need with regards to planning and things to. |

I would name it "Jazz" and try to obtain a loan for this venture from the bank.
If you speak Spanish you can always claim your here illegally and the Government will give you the money to start up this business and you won't have to pay it back!

you'd have to draw up a business plan and then go apply for a loan since u have no money... u'd probably need at least one business partner as well to help u out.. it's a long and tedious process, u better be sure you're willing to stick this out |
