I think you will continue reading it, with a few snickers and groans along the way.
I read it last December, and I almost gave up.
I don't like the way it is written. But then again, that is what so many other people DO like about it - how it is easy to read and how you can pick up just about anywhere without having to remind yourself of the previous paragraph or page.
It also means you can read it anywhere; in a waiting room, on the loo, on the bus or tube, and don't have to worry about rushing to finish a page before you are called or before your stop!
However, although I didn't like how it was written, I liked what it said!
Putting just a few of the ideas into practice made me feel happier somehow!
So please continue! It doesn't take long, and you might find it makes you happier too! |

i haven't read it but i know a few people who did and some who saw the movie. from talking to them about it it sounds like its a book worth reading. it sounds like it puts your mind in the right direction and mindset to make money that you didn't think you could. i hear that making money all depends on your attitute towards it and the book explains it all. |

That is good you have picked up the book, Gerard. Can I make a recommendation? Although the book is great, I would prefer you to absorb it better by watching the move, which is online for free, just do a Google search for 'watch The Secret for free'. Then I suggest after that, to try to rent 'What the Bleep Do We Know'. It is also on quantum physics / mechanics, and came out several years before the secret, but is phenom. Lastly, The Secret is based on a book by Wallace B. Wattles written in 1910, which is a compilation of all the great philosophy books of the world and time periods, called The Science of Getting Rich. But do not let the title fool you, it is a graceful book filled with inteligence and humility, qand the basis of The Secret. |
