i would never deal direct with the person, especially one from a different country because there would be no way of getting your money back.
I suggest that you insist they use something like paypal, otherwise just forget it and cancel. theres plenty of TVs on that site so i'm sure you could get another one within a few days |

Do not send the money! Use paypal then you are insured! before you even use paypal click on the sellers profile and see if any complaints are against him. If the seller refuses to accept paypal then I would have to caution you about sending in the payment. Even ebay has crooks. If you are really concerned then you can go to the ebay help center and explain that you are nervous about this transaction and they can dig a little deeper for you. Just incase this is a true deal just write the seller and tell them that you are concerned and that you do intend on paying but you would like some insurance, the seller can insure the product through pay pal it may cost you a few dollars more, but for your own sanity it may be worth it. and also as I said if you pay through paypal and you do not recieve the item you can lodge a complaint and your account will be credited andthey will debit the sellers account. I would never wire any money and most legit sellers on ebay do use paypal. |

ive been dealing with ebay for many years, l would never ever pay direct into an account as you have no proof its been payed, tell him youll pay via paypal or not atall, at least with paypal up to the value of 500 pounds you get your money back if the seller doesnt send the item. |

Like someone above said, you should have sorted this before bidding. I think you should pay now.
One other thing...don't trust that paypal will pay you back if you don't get the goods. This happened to me and they wouldn't pay! |

Set up your Paypal account. You can pay through Paypal either by putting in cash or with your credit card. If you have bid for something and won you have entered a legal contract. I am an ebayer and have received goods from Hong Kong with no problem. Check the Paypal site and read their conditions I am sure you will find that there is an insurance cover. ;-) |

The best place for advice on using e-bay is e-bay comminity forums. I'd post a question there. Yes it's a contract. But what are you risking a negative? A unpaid Strike...
The rules as with most things are ALWAYS READ THE LISITING.
I have bought small (physical size) items with great success from China but I've only used PayPal for them.
Remember to check if sellers 100% are for selling not all for buying. Or if they have sold lots more than there feedback shows and people just don't want to give negative in fear of one back.
Best of luck, but do try the forums. |

you should have made these decisions before bidding. i think now you should pay and hope. besides. you would need to be a doughball to buy a tv from china. you can get them dirt cheap in asda these days. |

I wouldn't even go there! Why would you want to buy a TV from someone in China - there are loads of good deals in this country! Beware!! And that paypal system beggars belief - my daughter had the dirty done on her with regards to a handbag she paid for through paypal on this site, and the goods didn't turn up and she couldn't contact the seller. She got half her money back!! |

i wouldn't directly wire money to anyone. email them back and tell them you are putting this on your paypal account. i would also contact ebay about this. and a tv in china? have fun paying money and never seeing it. you should have looked around before agreeing to this. |
