I ordered these items but they arrived damaged, i am wanting a refund or some compensation as they are simply not in saleable condition. They were also not damaged in transit as all the boxes were fully intact. The supplier is refusing to give me any of my money back, is there anything i can do? Office of international trade etc.

That's the risk you run by having your manufacturing done in China! Don't you have a contact in China who visited the manufacturer?
It's clear that the supplier doesn't value your business - otherwise they'd be bending over backwards to fix your issues. |

I import as well, but I have never any problems with getting credit for defective or damaged goods. There is not much you can do about it except not use them again. |

you should engage an advocate and log a complaint with the WTO (world trade organization ) closer to home you could asking the local chamber of commerce, your union or the embassies for assistance. |

more fool you for importing from asia. Their goods are reknowned for being cheap and non consumable, look at Mattel Toys in the UK earlier this year. Just cut your losses and thank you lucky stars you haven't been sued by a customer of yours. |
