The easiest way to pay is through paypal. If you have an account on the of your winning item it will say "pay now". Click on "pay now" and it will list options of payment. Click "paypal". Then you will be asked for your paypal password. Enter it, confirm the price and click "pay". You will recieve an email confirmation of payment. If you don't have a paypal account. Go to "my ebay". Under "My Accounts" you will see "PayPal account". Click that and set up one. Then continue as stated above. |

Sure. The easiest way to pay for eBay purchases.....
1. Set up an account with PayPal (accepts e-checks, Debit & Credit cards in many currencies) - an eBay company.
2. When you win the bid, you will get an invoice. There will be a button on the invoice that will direct you to PayPal to pay for your purchase..
It is really that simple.
There are other ways to pay (check, money order, etc), but you may have to contact the dealer to make arrangements via e-mail. |

Okay, I only started using ebay last year too so I know that is a big jumble at first. I usually like to wait a bit to see if they send an invoice as its just simpler but I do use the ebay site as well, but here it goes. You sign into your account and go to myebay and click on the item that you have won. When you get to the items page there should be an icon right at the top that says Pay Now, so you click on that and it'll bring up a new screen that says purchase price, shipping, and total, and how do you want to pay. Then Im assuming you're using Paypal as thats what you use Pay Now to do - then you click in the circle for paypal and click pay now at the bottom of the screen. That will take you to paypals site where you sign in and the item will show up in your account as needing to be paid, click on it and it'll bring up a confirmation page and if everythings ok click pay now and it'll go through. Now you'll get a receipt and on myebay the item will show up as paid. |

EBay is considered to be a marketplace that brings a buyer and seller together through their auction site, but do not really take part of the buying or selling process once the auction is won. For payment, you go through the seller directly either through the mail or an online service like paypal or bidpay. Some sellers have even set up checkout websites if they sell in high volume too.
So it isn't really EBay's fault for not giving clear payment instructions. That would be the seller themselves. |

most people take paypal, but a few don't.
I would email the person selling the item for instructions. They may want a check or money order. |

The easiest way to pay for Ebay auctions (and preferred by most sellers) is through PayPal. Go to www.paypal.com and follow the instructions to sign up and open an account. It's actually very easy if you use a credit card. PayPal will protect your financial information so that the ebay seller never gets any of your info, just the payment. I realize this isn't step by step, but once you start the process, you'll see how easy it is.
Some Ebay sellers will accept money orders, too. You should be able to get them from your bank (for free, hopefully), and WalMart has discounted money orders. The other option would be a personal check if the seller accepts them. If you use either of these options, be sure to let your seller know first. Click on the "ask seller a question" link on your auction and send them a quick email. |
