Yes they are very real and their are some really good companies out their I am a mom of 4 and have been working from home for a while. Its possible to find companies without fees or upfront charges.

I looked for a very long time before I found the company I'm with today I will tell you that it is a lot of work and it takes committment.

This website contains a list of some companies that may be hiring, also also some general information on working at home and data entry etc.

http://online-jobs-success.blogspot.com/

Take the time to find something you enjoy doing from home and something you believe in because you do not want your home to become a prison that you just do not want to work in.

and this is another I've seen with some good info:

No matter where you live you need to:

1) contact the Better Business Bureau via phone or internet and search the history of the company if there has been complaints to the BBB it will be listed.

2) Verify their address in the phone book and via e-mail, if the address does not match the one they give...

3) Major News stations have a consumer number that lists complaints about particular companies

4) Imput their name in the computer if the information they give you does not match then.... Also some consumers will post a blog of their complaints.

My husband and I acutally work with a business team here in Pennsylvania that's expanding up in that area. It isn't neccesarily a job per say but you can make very good money with it and turn it into a career if you want to. My husband still works full time but I am able through the oppurtunity to stay home with our two girls. I know we are complete strangers but if it's something you're interested I can give you a fifteen minute overview of what we are putting together and if its something your interested in great and if not it's not a big deal at all. We're talking to about 10-15 people only looking to work with 3 or 4 key people that are pretty excited about it. Just e-mail me if you think you'd like to check it out. Best wishes whatever you decide to do :) and Happy Memorial Day.

Hi Sadika!

I work from home through my online home-based business. I can assure you it is genuine, and is tied to a supplier that has an amazing long-time reputation. I was sold after I did my homework.

Whether or not you visit the website as listed on my profile, you should be looking to see if they are a member of the Better Business Bureau (mine is), check to see what their reputation is like, check to see how long the business has been around, and make sure there is a product involved (if not, it’s likely a pyramid scheme). Be wary of those that ask for money upfront!

The company I work with is not only legitimate (meets all the above criteria), but they offer free training and there is ongoing support. This can be crucial to your success.

You can work from New York and attract people to your market from all over the world, given that it is online. It is so cool and I really love what I do. The business adheres to all the values I hold dear - including leaving a light footprint on the earth!

Anyway - check it out - you will get a lot of useful information even if you don't decide to pursue it.

Good luck and I hope to hear from you!

I review some survey sites to make money that have worked for me at http://cashtutor.blogspot.com What you have to do is complete surveys and offers for companies that want the public's opinion. By doing this, you are able to earn money very easily for simply giving your opinion or trying out sample products. This is a great service that allows one to work from home, on their spare time, at their leisure, and still bring in a nice sum of money every month. People have made up to $1000 easily on this site by just working on it in their spare time. It is not going to replace a real job's salary, but it is a very nice bonus. There are also many features on these web site, such as contests and special surveys, from which you can redeem extra prizes that would be sent to you with your monthly cheque, such as iPods, Xbox 360s, PSPs, digital cameras, gift certificates, and much more.

Cheques are sent monthly, and usually arrive about a week or a week and a half into the next month. No payment from you is ever required, not to sign up, not EVER. Unlike other sites that try to scam people out of their money, these sites never requires you to pay them.

"If the site doesn't get paid from me, then why would they have this service going?" - The sites don't get paid directly from you, but when you complete an offer or survey, they also get paid a small portion of what you earned yourself. For example, if you complete a survey about computers let's say, you would earn maybe $2 and the web site itself would recieve $0.50 from the company also for getting you to complete the survey. These surveys take little time at all, most taking up less than even 1 or 2 minutes of your time.

Fraud is also a big deal on the Internet these days, and this site recognizes that. That is why they ask for ONLY three bits of information: Your name, email address and your home address. Yup, that is all. No credit card information, no banking information, nothing like that. All they require is your name and address so that your cheque can be sent to your home every month. Your email address is only required to confirm that you have done the offers and surveys. Fortunately, no spam mail or junk mail is ever sent out by this site and your information is never shared with any other company.

Personally I have been a member of these websites, along with thousands of other satisfied users, for approximately 1.5 years now and have earned well over $8600 by working in my spare time. This web site has been great to me, also the members and administrator are very friendly, and are always there to help you with a question or problem you may be having. So far, I've listed only positives about this site, because I can't think of a single negative thing about it. Earn money in your spare time, at no cost to you...Easy as that!

email me at lancesurveys@hotmail.com if you have any questions

Hi,
I tried a method some time back when I was starting out. It used to make me around $300 per week. I haven't tried it in some time, though I'm sure it still works as the method cannot dry out. Its VERY DIFFERENT from the other s*** stuff here like Paid-To-Click etc and it doesn't require any money to start. Its all about 'a creative technique'. Let me know if you are interested, email me @ kiworldtech@gmail.com.

Regards,
Kent

Avoid work at home data entry jobs where you have to pay a joining fee. There are some legit data entry companies listed on these 2 websites.

http://freelance-data-entry.blogspot.com/

This also contains some useful info applicable to the US and Canada

Hey data entry can be good to help make that extra little bit of cash. I am doing it myself and I make about $1000.00 of extra money a month. Its good work if your willing to put some time aside to do it. Anyway there is a site

http://my-data-entry.blogspot.com/

that has a huge list of data entry scams. Check the programs you are interested in there before you join any, also they have results from somone who has done a program. Anyway good luck.
