if you hve an extra room in your house like a basment or garage you could use that. maybe put a nice rug down or something . and when your selling them remember to be nice to your costomers even if they are a reel pain in the butt.

You can put flyers up in the local grocery stores. You can sell them on ebay or you can create your own website and sell them from there. You can also incorporate home made soaps with eyecatching designs.

Sami
think of a location where theres lots of ppl and make flyers posters and make like a webpage, that cnould help start a buissness, also tell friends and family and employees about ur candle making busniess thats a great way to get it up off the ground but it may take some time so dont give up if it dont start out well b/c if u believe in wat u doing it will be susseful

if your town has a flea market i would suggest setting up a booth and trying to sell them there

*go to car-boot sales and sell them there
*advertise online or build yourself a website
*try organising candle parties to show people your items
*post flyers advertising

GOOD LUCK! I hope your business succeeds!

Well try opening an e-bay store, it's not real expensive, build a web page people can visit with photos of your candles and prices, how you make them, exctra.
Also since Christmas is coming up look for craft fairs in your area, swamp meets, flea markets and other events like this.
Go around to small locally owned business and talk to the owners about consignment or paying them to sell your candles.
Advertise in the newspaper, or thift ads!
Call your local radio staions to see about promoting your candles.
Rent a small store, or find a store that leases out small spaces.
Another thing you could do if you lease a space is hold classes on how to make the candles and charge a small fee for it.
Local schools often have fund raisers, sales for Christmas.
Do a fund raiser with a local organization!

you can get a free on-line shop at:
www.etsy.com

or try:
flea markets
booth malls

There are tons of craft sites on-line that you can advertise on too.

Good Luck!

In addition to a website, you can find out about arts and crafts fairs in your area and sell the candles there. Make up a pamphlet or catalogue and pass it on to friends and relatives, see if you can make home parties out of this business, churches, floral shops, gift shops.

Make a website with Yahoo! Geocities and then market away!

Attend craft fairs, like right now, small boutique shops, tell friends, if you leave a candle for them to try they would be more apt to buy in the future because you made a personal connection and they will remember you. Also, offer to do consignment, you would provide the candles and then they pay you at the end of each month.

With the holidays coming soon, you need to act fast for extra bucks. Good Luck!
