You may want to try the E-bay website. I have a friend that made great money from being a salesman. If you are okay with watching children, you may want to open a home-day care. I know for a fact the money is great, I have a relative that has one and it definitely has its benefits, plus there is not as much red tape trying to get a home day care started up. I hated trying to sell avon myself...being a mom and a student is a full time job. I'd stick with that until you're finished your schooling and then you can get a great job that you will like, because you will then have your schooling to back you. My sister was a full time mom until her son was seven years old....then she went to college and now she is happy being a kindergarten teacher. |

I am a mom of 5, ages 6, 5, 3, and 1 yr old twins. What did you hate about Avon? Is it all direct sales ? I ask because there are so many out there and they are all different. I have a friend who sells Tastefully Simple and she loves it it is consumable and everyone eats or entertains at some point. I have a show for her every year.
I started my own Mary Kay business 3 years ago completed not interested in sales but loving the product. I am also a stay at home mom now. I worked outside the home prior to Mary Kay and found it easy to fit into my day ( I also had a 2 year old now 4) . I am able to get the socialization I want and the income I need while putting my faith and family before my career. |

I have done direct selling of Partylite candles in the past, it worked well when I lived in NC. I am in AL now and it didn't work out for this area I suppose. That is one thing you could do on your time, I was a stay at home mom also.
Now I am in a job I hate, and want to work from home again, so if you get any legitimate answers outside of direct sales, I'll be sure to pay attention to this thread. |

Well I just started selling Mary Kay cosmetics. I don't know how good avon's benefits are BUT Mary Kay gives GREAT incentives (50%) profit, free cars, and special quarterly gifts. Also Mary Kay has really supportive teams that are always willing to help. I have 2 small girls and own a clothing store so I know how it is with no time. But you will notice that there are people out there who really love Mary Kay and can't find people to buy it from. Also you can have your own Mary Kay website. So you can do alot of your work at home. Just a suggestion but it really does work!! |
