Leslie's Looks sounds like a peep show. Very tacky. Unless you are aiming for the lowest end of the market, you need something much more refined and tasteful. Hey, even the low end of the market calls itself "Supercuts."
Either invent something yourself and register the name, or hire a consultant to assess your market and generate a trademarkable new name, or use your full name. If you are a professional hair stylist, you need to look and act like it, and that includes your name, signage, business cards, brochures, salon's appearance, etc. |

Ok, my sister and her husband both own a salon, and I will say this: it always sounds tacky when people use their name unless it's their whole name. Ex: If you used Leslie Smith Salon. That sounds classy and professional. |

You should include in your business name a word that will inform consumers what your business does. Leslie's Locks for example would be better than Leslie's Looks. Looks is too broad, in my opinion.

I agree that Leslie Smith Salon is classy and I like that. If you will be offering any other services (nails, massages, facials, etc) maybe Leslie's Beauty Spa or Leslie's Beauty Boutique. Good luck! |

sometimes when you use alliteration in names of shops it can make it sound tacky so why not try something plain and simple like: Leslie's It may be plain but its easy to say and easy to remember, so your customers will remember it. And even if you didn't call it Leslie's, your customers would probably just shorten the name of the shop to it anyway. Hope I helped (: |
