I am 53. Sorry, but to be honest, the Goddess part doesn't work for me. You want to try and pull all ages in. At my age, I don't think Goddess will ever come my way again. It sounds like your focusing in on the younger generation. They are not the ones with the buck$. Use words like "Pamper" or something on that line. |

I'm 26 - out of the two provided you should go with the first - Trendy is an ironic word insofar as it has never actually been trendy to use trendy- it makes me think of shellsuits and bum-bags.
Second one sounds more Greek classical, which is good- suggests style and intelligence.
How about these two (I don't think they're what your looking for but it's a different angle)...
Curl up and Dye
Follicle Ninjas :)
A goddess and a deity aren't quite the same thing, and besides, how many classicists are going to be coming in? You want to go for style over content on this one...(not often I say that) |

I am old enough to be your mother.
A business name should be short, simple and to the point so that people can easily remember it. This is a very important step in creating your business. If you are set on the above may I suggest: Goddess Salon & Spa? |

I'm 38 and have the money to go to a salon and I don't like either of the names, sorry! Goddess really turns me off.
How about a name with the word 'platinum' in it? There's a platinum salon in my area and they're very popular. I'm sure the name is not the reason, but it doesn't hurt. :-) |

I am 20. I like #1. The word "Trendy" has become a little distasteful to my ears. |

I'm 24, I guess #2 is the better of the two, but I won't lie to you since you are asking about the name of the salon, I probably would not go to your salon because of the name, it sounds a little over the top. But if you have a great look and great people working for you, I'd for sure try it out. Best if luck with your new salon! |

but to be honest with you, none of them would be a catching(or an attractive) name for me if i was shopping for a salon. just a personal opinion. hope business goes well for you. |

#1, If you want one of those. Make it the name of your child. I knew someone that did that, Dante lucci salon. His name was dante. Hope this helps and have a great day!

44, Pagan and No.2. If you use the words "Goddess deity" your business will fail!! |

I'm 48...
I think both names will be a turn off for most...
Goddess, Diety and Trendy (which sounds like you are only going to be in business a short while) are not good names for a business trying to attract a large clientel.
A friend of mine, who now owns an Aveda salon, went through many names before signing with Aveda who recommended he use his name (last name) to name his salon. He has been more successful since making these changes. He now has THE hottest salon in town. |

I'm 42, and I don't like either name choices. I agree with some of the other posts that you should maybe use your name. Personally, I like 1 word names. I currently go to a very posh salon called Chazio's. I believe it is the name of the owner.
Or just Deity - I kind of like that.
More important than a name though is networking. Personal referral and word of mouth works great for salons. Join a networking group such as BNI http://www.bni.com and the local chamber of commerce. Get involved with community events such as parades.
Best of luck to you and your new business! |

The name selected should be attractive enough and meaningful. It should have some relation to the trade. "Apsara", "minerva" and "Aish" are some suggested names. My age is 60 plus. |

24 years old, #2 is better. deity and goddess are the same thing, its redundant and makes no sense to put together. |
