Advertise that you don't hire illegal aliens.
In-N-Out burgers pay its workers $10 an hour to start and it refuses to hire illegal aliens. Those restaurants are really doing well. |

There are many ways to attract customers to your restaurant, you could us this scheme that every week, there will be a lucky winner draw among the customers, & the winner will be awarded a prize, such a dvd player, home theatre system, & so forth. If you are making profit of thousands of bucks in a week, then it is worth it giving out prize of arround 100 bucks to buy more customers. |

i would prefer home cooked meals being the number one food item. decide wether or not to open evenings or all day . make it like a coffee house type, |

How about something that wouldn't cost quite so much, but would benefit customers?
Maybe, online reservations? How about banquet rooms or meeting rooms? Maybe a connection with an FTD florist where flowers could be delivered just prior to a reservation time?
Singing waiters? Mariache bands? Karaoke? A piano bar? Jazz bands? Maybe a different kind of entertainment each night?
Maybe coordination with limo services to pick up guests and take them back to their hotels/airport, etc.?
How about instead of home delivery, have a call-in service where the meals are ready to go within 30 minutes of when they're called in? Don't do the "or free" thing because it costs too much in terms of free food.
Maybe a recipe contest at the restaurant's web site, with a weekly winner receiving $7 off on a meal? Who knows, a person could submit something that would work for the restaurant as a new menu item... maybe reward a person $100 for a winning recipe?
Okay, that's all my little brain can come up with, for now. |

There is a restaurant in Italy where you sit on a huge bed and eat off of short tables sitting on the bed. shoes off at the entrance, everything is white except for the neon which is prominent throughout. A sort of Star Wars atmosphere. |

It could be an internet cafe. But literally a cafe!
you could target business people and have computers built into the walls and people can sit and have coffee or a meal whilst having access to the computer!
omg im so smart.

instead of free, why don't the customer can kick the delivery boy in the butt or the nutt.
I have this idea of a supermarket cafe where the food and beverage are on display like in a supermarket. The customer chooses what they want, including the topping or side dish and stuff not from the menu but from the display. So they got pretty good idea of what they order not by some image on the menu. |

If start up capital is no constraint I would place the dining area in the center of a 360 degree aquarium filled with exotic fish including the floor and ceiling so it would be as if you were literally eating under water. |

How about a theme restaurant. Like a Disney theme or something like that. |
