be patient with them and just enjoy them....talk to them....play games with them....
here are game ideas:
--ADVENTURE GAMES
*Camping
you use an old bedsheet to put over your heads and you pretend that's your tent....also, do thinks like pretend there's a campfire with marshmallows and sing campfire songs and tell campfire stories....you can also create other adventures like monsters are coming or something like that...
*Swimming
you can use the female (4 year old) and tell her to pretend she's swimming.....(if allowed) ask her to pretend to swim on her bed while you take the bedsheet and flap it so it looks like waves....you can use the 2 year old as a shark so they can have fun together...
*Treasure-hunting
buy both of them a little toy and hide it....or get a little sack and fill it with coins and hide it....then make a map so they can find the treasure....build little obstacles around the way to make it fun....
--Read them books
--play the usual games
*hide and seek
*tag
*hand games
*color together
*origami
*make something
*etc...
hope this helps |

Be patient, do not yell or hit people's children. Most of the time the parent will tell you what their child can have or can not have. And just like with parenting you have to have good instincts. You will learn. It's really not hard. Hope you love kids. And be sure to not give in. If you say no stay grounded in what you are saying because when you start to give in they notice and take advantage of you. |

You get what you want, before they get what they want..
Eg, they sit down and be quiet before they get a treat.
be prepared to come down to their level, play with them, even if it means crawling on the carpet and making silly animal noises |

Whenever you see an argument or tantrum about to happen, divert their attention to something new. |

play outside a lot, it will wear the kids out, so they'll actually go to bed at their bed time |
