it's not really very possible for a kid to make a lot of money.
you can make a little working for your parents or babysitting or doing odd jobs (yardwork, car washing, pet sitting) for people in your neighborhood. there are still some paper routes. basically it's almost impossible. |

It's great to get your child into being an entrepreneur. But there is something to be said about being a kid while your a kid. I wouldn't put too much pressure on your child to make, as you said "A LOT" of money.
I would focus on jobs that build responsibility and teach lessons. |

kids can start working in some restruants and places
at age 14, but your schools can deny a workers permit.
I kno for Indiana age 14-15 you can only work 18 hours
a week, 3 hours on school nights and 8 hours on weekend
nights. If your not that old get some friends and make a club.
you can order things from www.orientaltrading.com or some other place and donate like 50and up % to a charity and then the club can keep the rest (but make sure you tell your customers the percent that goes to charities otherwise the club would be a liar and should feel terrible for taking money that shouldve been donated.) Whatever your club decides to do with the money would be their decision, but in this case you guys would want to split the profit bcuz otherwise the club would be pointless to this answer. You cant do the charity thing by yourself bcuz not many ppl would trust that its actually going to the charity at all. |

mow some lawns, walk some dogs,offer to help with building furniture etc... I'm sure if you let everyone know you do these things, try not to mention the fact that you want the money until you are well into your task , most grown ups will then feel obligated to give you some money, if they don't, be descent about it don't let your frustration come through too noticeably instead ask if they have any other chores you could help with and most of the time they will show their gratitude more noticeably. Oh by the way this advice isn't free I'll take 10% of what you make , nah I'm just messing with you ;-)

I'm 12 and To make money, I make stuff and sell them. I also did a few bake and garage sales, and I did a dog walking thing. I earned lots of money out of that! |

Firstly, don't listen to any of the people who tell you to do those stupid surveys (They don't work).
Secondly, do you have any ideas for an invention or way to make something easier? You should be going through your day asking yourself, 'There's got to be a better way'.
We all have dreams, ideas, ambitions. It's those who actually pursue their ideas and take risks who make it. It can be as simple as flavored syrup or as complicated as the first computer. I read this book about this man who as a child made different flavored syrup and made millions, so it is definitely possible. And trust me, you're going to run into a bunch of negative people, but just ignore them! I also know there will be times where you'll doubt yourself, but you should always think positive and strive for greatness. It's sad when people say, "Im never going to be rich", because we all have it in us to make it possible, it's those who actually push, sweat, and bleed who make it.
I hope I inspired you and I wish you great luck in your adventure.
