It might not have a certificate of occupancy allowing it to be used as a residence. You might be able to work late and stay overnight occasionally but counting it as your residence is most-likely a no-no.

Depends on how the property is zoned. You may be able to have a "caretaker" in residence there, but not several. You need to do a litlle research on the zoning for you area and see what the code says.

owning a piece of property is wonderful. What kind of business it. when you sit down,try to put yourself in other people place to see if you would want to extend the business or do you want to live there. a commerical is one that carry a lot of pollution, which makes it risky to live.

No you cannot live there legally. You will need to apply for a 'change of use' with your local council. It is not too hard to get, as long as you give them a good enough argument for living there.
Visit your local council's website, and you should be able to find more details there.
