Hard to believe, I'd have thought that the banks and venture capitalists would be beating a path to your door. |

£300,000 to start a business are you mad........
As you have no credit and no money, I think you maybe aiming a little to high.
See what you can achieve on little or no capital, make it into a sucessfull business and then when you have money in the bank, im sure you bank will lend you sufficient funds, but over a quarter of a mill.....I doubt it for start up alone. |

First, find the lowest possible amount that you need, because that's a huge amount, you could ruin the rest of your life borrowing that much if it tanks.
So do it on the smallest amount of money possible.
Then start with family, and maybe try finding investors, they're called venture capitalists, they'll invest if there's enough return and potential there.
It's not impossible if your idea is great, but it is very very very hard. |

But do you have enough money for a lottery ticket? That is just about the only way you're going to get this money. |

hi, that seems like a large amount of money - if you are looking for funding you'd better have a really good business plan in place showing exactly why you need so much and how you are going to make money and ultimately pay back any loan.
you have a few different options available to you, including; grants, small firms loan guarantee, business angel funding etc.
the links below should provide you with some advice on some of your funding/loan options and putting together a business plan

Well you won't be able to then will you. You will have to go to work for an hourly or weekly wage like other people then. When you learn how to manage your money and not have credit problems,if ever, then you can think of running a business. It sounds like your head is in the clouds and you want bringing down a bit. |
