1. Food - maybe restaurant if you know cooking or if you have best recipes of your own that your friends love to it and maybe can recommend it to their other friends. Remember, a PERSON can't live without foods. You can go with chinese cuisines, italian, grills
2. Wedding giveaways

5. tutorials for children/kindergarten school
6. internet cafes
7. bakeshop
8. boutique
9. beauty parlor
But before thinking, know first what interest you most.

First you might want to get some education. If you can find a job that people need to do and you can fill that need you will find a business that will have an increased chance of making it.
First read "The Innovators Solution" by Clayton Christensen.
It will give you a blueprint of what you need to do with what ever business you do. You can find it in the library.
You should be able to get it on CD and listen to it too.
Then I would get the book "What Color is Your Parachute."
It has a formula in the back that will tell you what you would do best at for a job. If you just think of your job as your business, you will find something you will love to do.
With this knowledge, you will find a business you can love to do. And if you find a job or business you love to do, you will never work another day in your life.
There are a lot of free books on the subject on the web. There are a lot of free books in the library too.
With out an education, your chances of success are limited. So don't just start a business, start a business that you will succeed at.

If your business must be small because of lacking capital and on the other hand you also want to make a substantial profit if your efforts are successful, than go to a good networkmarketing company.

Some thoughts on a process to find your next business idea:
1) Figure out what you like/love. The thing you have the most passion for. Your chances of being successful are probably greater if you are more engaged in your product/service.
2) Figure out what you are personally good at. Sales/marketing side of things? Ie, selling stuff thats already made. Or are you more of an idea-person who wants to make something new - a better mouse-trap? (sounds like the latter is not you.)
And further: is there a trade or service are you good at? That you have experience in?
3) Maybe the combination of your answers to #1 and #2 might point you in the direction/general area you should be in.
4) If you have found the general area you need to be in - you could go further and research: What's the weakness in this area? What do people complain about? Is it that there is no Indian bread delivery in their neighborhood? Could be. If you find a problem you can have a business that provides the answer. Sounds cheesy but thats the definition of any business, yes?
5) Consider teaming with someone you trust to fill in the gaps where you are weak. |

If you don't have any experience with regards to restaurants or spas or other traditional types of businesses, better learn more about these things before jumping into it. Try network marketing if you don't have much money with regards to investment. The life lessons you will learn from these types of company will be very rewarding should you one day want to strike out on your own. Surround yourself with successful people. They have plenty of good ideas in doing businesses. First of all though, figure out what you'd like to do. Starting a business is no laughing matter. However, since I sense an interest there, I know you have a greater chance to succeed. Go for what you want. I'm sure your instinct will guide you through it. |
