So is there another website I could post up for sell. The thing is the website should not charge me for my sell, and I don't think i can pay for S & H. Amazon is good, but shippin a computer is expensive. |

Only sell to LOCAL people who will pick it up and pay you cash. Here's a list of other free classified ad websites. I use them all the time but I do NOT ship or take checks as payment. I only deal with local people.

Use ebay, it is the best way to go. You can do everything through paypal, which means that you do not ship until the buyer puts the money in your paypal account. Additionally, you do not have to pay the shipping and handling. I have used it several times and it works great! |

Well... you could always just list it in your local paper. If you sell on a website where you have to pay, the buyer pays for shipping and handling. Amazon charges you, too. |

So whats wrong with craigslist local pickup. I have emptied out my entire garage with free stuff on craigslist local pickup. I dont know of too many people that can scam you with greenbacks. If you are afraid of weirdos finding out where you live when buyers come over just tell them to hurry up because you will be late for target practice. |

You do not pay the S&H the buyer does.
Also, on Craigslist just say LOCAL PICKUP ONLY. Also only take cash. That way you dont have to worry abut S&H and scammers. |

craigslist is good. Although the scams are EASY to spot. Simply put "NO OVERSEAS" Local only on your listing and don't let anyone try to do any kind of Western Union or paying before they supposedly pick it up. These are signs of scams. But I've sold lots of things on Craigs List and only had them listed for about 2 days. Ebay charges too much. You'll know if someone is trying to scam you. They'll want to send you hundreds MORE than what you're asking and you'll have to cash the check, send money back to them, andl then your bank finds out the check isn't real. Only take CASH. You'll be fine. |
