The best work at home opportunity is home based business opportunities. Work at home jobs pay minimum wage. AFter taxes, your income is actually lower. Very difficult to save for your future.
As far as the pyramid and things like that, I have to laugh. Someone told me this, and I found it on a yahoo answer from a very incredible individual that has a huge future on a silver platter. Make that gold! So here's the truth behind pyramids:
Name any company,...Ford, Microsoft, Apple, etc...even the company you might be working for (unless you run your own business)
all have CEOs / Owners,...these top people pay employees to work FOR them.
then there are the ranks which you can aspire to, like President, Vice, CFO, manager, supervisor, etc. if you actually write it down and put it in a diagram, you would actually end up with a pyramid, with the CEO on top.
with network marketing, it's the other way around. if the first guy does not help his team to produce, he gets nothing. his rank or title doesn't really mean anything unless he helps in the production of his team.
sure they get a share of their team's production, but isn't that just business as usual? even the government gets a chunk off of our paycheck every month (and they are still in deficit) not to mention the Unions.
"live and let live"...at least with network marketing, the guy who is getting a share from your paycheck actually helped you get that pay check. (that is why you'd have to choose your leaders / network company well)
for the people in network marketing who are getting big money because they have built large teams, well kudos for them. we can't blame them if they thought of it before we did. they simply saw the opportunity, grabbed it and ran with it.
They're plenty of options in a variety of industries to look through. They're not jobs, they're businesses that you own. They're not hard to do at all. Pretty basic and simple things.

Offer them new services through the provider or upgrade and extend their contracts on an existing one or even add a line. This can be done from your home. Every time they pay there bills, you make a percentage every single month. That's just one way you can make money in this industry. Huge income opportunity there.
