Disabling the right click button does not work -- trust me. Newbies can be deterred for a few seconds, but it's all Javascript code and all they have to do is to disable scripting and VIOLA - they can right click again.
You can't stop it. The only thing to do with photos is to write over them; put a watermark or something that "This photo is the property of ABC Website." If they are planning to use that on their website or some others, they have to do a lot of corrections in photoshop first. |

There is absolutely NO WAY if the site is open to the public. No software or tricks will stop it if the theif knows what they are doing. It is simple.
The only way would be to put a large watermark across the photo. You can do this with Photoshop.
Those codes that are mentioned are easy to get around.
YOu can just go up to VIEW on the toolbar, then SOURCE, and look at the code to get the URL of the photo, and go directly to the photo in your browser and copy it. |

Learn flash! and your photo website will be tough to crack! GM took a photo off of a web site. the guy sued them and got $50,000.... I saw the GM website and his! The guy sells pics for a living! Either make them real small thumbnail size or put type through them! |

Either password protect your site or stop posting pics. The internet is public domain and people are going to grab your pics whether or not they are legally entitled to them. |
