Firstly you can't expect to be paid as much as those with NI numbers - assuming you don't have your yet, or maybe you do. Once you have it you can work in a shop or an office. Pay will be pants at first but it is way better now than what it was when I left school!
River Island paid me £2.88 an hour to work in their shop. I've heard they still pay shite wages.
I know you said no paper round but if you do it you can start to build a cv, and doing a paper round shows that you are trustworthy to do an important job, which employers will look for. You can also try ebay, so long as you have a debit card account you can buy and sell on there no bother.
Why not get enroled in college, in something that gives you work experience? More chance of getting more dosh then.

I like your avatar.I think at your age you should be less picky about what the job is and more keen to work and get a job. Let's face it at 15 your not going to get any more than the minimum wage wherever you work. I would try asking parents or friends of the family if they want odd jobs doing for cash or you could try neighbours etc. If you want more regular work try shops I started working part time at Woolworth's when I was 15. It's not plain sailing though I had to do a couple of 1 day courses and an easy maths test. I went there on work experience prior to them offering me the job. Maybe you could do work experience in school it may help. Good Luck. It's nice to hear of a person your age who actually wants to work. |
