Sometimes minority loans are easier to get than some credit cards..BUT if you have bad credit, forget about it!
Talk the the SBA and see what they can offer you.. (small business association)

You need to research grants. There are a lot of grants for small business owners and especially for females. |

You may qualify for a very small government grant or loan with the SBA, but they are usually not enough to actually start a business with. There are also special grants/loans for minorities wanting to start a business. Most places, though, will want you to have some assets and credit. Also, if you don't plan to have this as a home-based business, chances are you will have a hard time finding a place to rent without a credit history. |

There are a few things that you can try, but be warned, it's going to take patience!! The Small BusinessAdminisration is probably where I would go first. If that's not possible, there are some government grants available that are geared directly towards new business and normally don't have to be paid back. You should be able to get a lot of information at your local library for that |
