I want to quit school, im going to college now and my major is business. However im not a person who enjoy staying in the office for 8hours than punch out. I don't get anythings from the class. Personally i think you would be making a huge mistake in todays world and career market not to finish college and have a back up! Consider what you would do if your business failed! Not to mention to start a business you need investors and or bank loans, what does that say about your commit level if youve quit in the past cause it was too hard! |

I bought out a business,ran it mostly by myself,had 1 or 2 part time helpers. Did my own bookkeeping,etc. I just had high school education. You should be able to handle it. Good Luck!! |

Start a business while you are still in school and see how that goes first. My husband and I have an online/offline retail business that might work for you. I can't give you details here since it's against the rules of this site but send me an email if you'd like more information. |

STAY IN SCHOOL> Most small business fail. I own one and it can suck you dry.
IF you want to test the waters of owning a small business sit down and write your business plan FIRST. Then take it to a bank and THEN see if you want to quit school. You may get the loan but you also need security to fall back on...aka a degree so you can at least teach. |

You should see what business you are interested in, and find someone who does it. See if they will let you have an internship with them, or let you shadow them. Do some research with SBA (Small Business Admin) before your start a business as well. Most millionaires never went to college. |

education is always important but escpecially now. I would suggest staying in school you are never to old to be there. In my classes I usually have a huge span of ages. This way if your small business doesn't pan out you have your degree which would be a great asset to you in the job market. Remember that you still have at least 40 years left in the work force. So always plan ahead. When you do open a small business I hope you have a successful one and good luck! |

You may start a small business of your own, any time you wish. You do not require any school certificate or a college degree to have a business of your own. Starting a business is one thing, which most of us are capable of, but making a venture success is another, rather difficult (very difficult).
One requires wisdom to make a venture a success. The route to Wisdom, is 'Education in School and College, along with some special skills acquired through formal training. The knowledge and skills acquired transform a person (YOURSELF) with some wisdom'. Thus any assignment of your own business or employment you will able to perform much better than what otherwise you will able to do.
Under the circumstances, you better make some efforts and complete your schooling as well as collage education and than get into employment or in your own business. During the period you will able polish your communication skills as well as acquire skill in many other areas through formal training or through on the Job training as Trainee.

Why quit school? Go for it and get your degree. You can always start a small business on the side. I have two friends who sold hot dogs on the side outside the stadium and in the park. They both made a lot of money.
You can do the same.
