Additional Details i serve 1/2 lb burger combo meals for $6 which include fries and a 20 ounce drink along with Korean Dishes and salads and 6 and 12 inch subs. Nothing on my menu is over $6, i want to attract a bunch of people. My food is fresh, clean , and made to order. All the customers I have comeback, but i have done no promotions yet i want some creative and fun ideas without having to slash my prices because they are already super low already!!!

To add to my ideas from your previous question, go to and join the local Chamber of Commerce, and contact the Better Business Bureau to apply for membership. Contact the National Restaurant Association for materials and tips (ironically initialed NRA). Talk to the vendors that supply your food and services, and stay on top of their product lines.
Network. You'll need to spend some time on the street to make sales calls and to allow people to put a face with the business. Seeing and talking to people, mentioning the name of your deli, and presenting a winning personality will help them remember you over your competition. |

I agree with your idea of not slashing prices- at least not as a part of standard practices. All that does is get people hooked on your coupons. In that case, just raise your prices and then give out the coupons and you are in about the same place.
That said, it sounds like your issue is awareness. People like your food so it should hold that if you just let more people know about it your business will increase. If that is really true, then consider flyers without any coupons. You don't need to discount to have an advertisement like a flyer.
Consider finding out where your current customers are coming from (collect busines cards, etc.) and then hit those areas since it is obviously close enough for them to come- so why not others in their area.
This is not creative, but you don't have a creative problem. You have an awareness problem and so telling more people about your place will do the trick. Since price is a feature of your place, just be sure you highlight what a great value it is and the type of food you serve.
The issue with sponsoring events is that you wind up giving away so much food that you might as well just have a coupon - at least you can then track how much business that generated. |

Set up a booth in your area and give out samples with the promo 6 and under! If your food is that good, that would get me to come to your restaurant. Sarbucks does it all the time. Free coffee hour or afternoon break time, they will give away smiles and coffee, fraps and flyers so people will come back to have it again. Just look at what the big businesses do and use them as a model. |

Do a frequent eater's card. Example: punch a whole in it for each sandwich. After 12 purchases or some such number the 13th is free.
Will keep them coming back! |

presentation and service are key to establishing customers, and getting them to come back.
it seems that if you are not interested in advertising, then you will have to expect that 'word of mouth' will have to speak for you. a satisfied customer will come back, a happy one will bring bring some new ones with them. a positive review will spread the word and more will come.
have a professional decorator come and set the mood according to the menu. keep things clean and the staff ready to serve with a smile on their face.
good luck! |

How about a radio spot?
Also encourage your customer's to recommend your place to their friends. Word of Mouth is a powerful marketing tool.
Also, if there is a local college nearby that has marketing classes you can ask if they'll take your deli on as a real life project for them. I know my school did that. |
