It will be a great adventure for you. You will learn more in a few seasons than most people learn in four years of college.
I know nothing about the sugarcane business, but I know that business ownership gives you a perspective you cannot get anywhere else. |

going into business for yourself is always the way to go, no matter what your product is you never know what it will turn into and how big it will become, you may become the biggest distributor of sugar cane and sugar cane products who no's but first i would suggest you brand yourself in some way even if that means creating a logo and sticking it on the dang stalk! also look into other products that u can use sugar cane for whether its natural sugars, nectars, juice whatever have more to offer than just the stalk. |

what you r doing now is probably best because you must find a reliable and trust worthy person to get the sugar cane from and sell it to a big manufacture or sell person to person.
some experience is definitely required it is a very hard working job. you must have at least 6 hrs min. a day to work on it. its not as easy as it sounds. |

it's good to start business at the early age as long is does not affect your study.
earning money early has advantages as it give you head start to have more experience
also it has disadvantages if you need to spend too much time; business may affect your study, prohibit you getting good results to university and get experienced at blue chip companies also too much stress in business will result in losing social life, contacts with people that may bring better opportunities that you need as you go for next level of business.
many successful high tech entrepeneur start business at early ages around 20s Apple, Microsoft, Yahoo, You Tube, Googles - but also some businessman starts at their late 30s such as starbucks, and some late 50s like Kentucky Fried chickens |
