What you are referring to is being a distributer/retailer. These companies get discounts from the suppliers of whatever product by buying in bulk. The only problem with this is that to remain competitive, your profit margins must be quite small in order to give the customer a good deal. if you dont give him a competitive deal, he will simply go to the next retailer. Also, the more inventory you order, the cheaper the price per unit becomes, however, this discount cancels out with the fact that holding the inventory actually costs money in terms of storage, and also, you have to maintain the actual item and keep it from spoiling, theft, damage, etc. Margins are very slim in this business model, but it can be made up for in sheer quantity. |

start with the government loans and grants program, and then look for investors, there is money out there, do your homework, hopefully you will find help, everything can't be made in china this country has to help it's own sooner or later |

Clean out your closets, attic, garage, etc. and have a garage sale, sell the items on eBay, and/or sell them through a local resell shop on consignment. Also you can buy things from newspaper listings, eBay, garage sales to resell. I've had good experiences with this and typically quadruple my investment. A few tips: Don't buy anything electric unless you see it actually working or use it first; never buy used vacuums. Don't buy clothing for resell unless it is new or like new, i.e. no stains, rips, tears, etc. If you return to a large sale as they are ending it, many times you can get what is leftover for free or everything for a very low price. |

It would be nice to make big bucks with little effort but that's not likely to happen.
