well there are a lot of places that do custom silk-screen runs, just google it. and if you make some $ then you could get the equipment to do it yourself. but for initial investment, i'd probably figure close to $1000, just to account for unforeseen expenses |

You first need to understand what it takes to run a business. You will need a business license, understanding of taxes involved and how much money you will need to get it going. You will have the expense of buying the machines, t-shirts and other costs.
If you are going to sell on the internet, it isn't as easy as putting a site up. You have to get people to come to your site. I had a internet store for 2 years and had to spend alot of time and money to get my site out there. I didn't sell alot. You would be better to sell at flea markets and fairs.
Do your research first, to see if there is a market for it, before you spend alot and find that there isn't a call for them.
Taking some business courses would help also. |

If you have something that you'd like to take to volume, check out www.alibaba.com. I've used this site to find companies in China that make clothing for me.
I'll warn you in advance that it can be painful getting the clothing *right*, but once there...it is low cost and high volume! |
