Wait a minute!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but from your question I believe that you arent ready to manage a business, nevertheless open it!
1. You should first of all do a course in business management - you do not have to do a 3 year course there are also 3 months basic course.
2. You should decide to do your research and inner search in order to decide which business you would like to enter.
3. seek a job as an employee in such a business in order to learn the business.
4. If you still believe that this is the business for you and that you are mentaly and financially ready for it- Go for it!
REMEMBER - in every business or decision that you take go with the falling rule - Think of the worse thing that could happen, if you can cope with it - go for it, if not, rething the whole subject!
e.g. If you will open a business and the worse thing that could happen is that you will lose $10,000 and you can cope with that and you believe in the business - go for it.
If on the other hand, losing the $10,000 will ruin your life and you will never be able to cope with the loss - Don't do it!
To balance it I must say - Think Big and you will be Big, think small and you will be small!.
You must find the balance and follow my steps!

Like one other person said is it depends on how much capital you have? The next question is even if you have the cash capital but no practical experience running or knowing how to run your own business then its not wise to sink money into it until you get some experience! The best way to get some basic experience without the high risk of big dollars is a home based business opportunity. I currently have over 10 sources of income!

Think of all your interests & ask yourself if any of those could be expanded into a business. Just keep in mind...what's your expertise? What are your interests? What could you imagine yourself doing?

Do the business from something you like, ex. selling your work on internet or something you capable of, ex. graphic design. You have to spend more time to search some opportunities or ideas from your hobbies. |

Try to run a store or restaurant. But, you should the situation in your place. i suggest you not to open a restaurant if there are a lot of restaurants. try to start with a small business, like open a cloth store. try to get things that will get long. Don't be so related with these days fashion or style. When the style is over, your store will be also ended and people will call it 'old fashion' Make a slight different. I think you can be a good businessman/woman if you trust yourself what you really good in ;). Don't waste to much money! Hope you like my advice. Because i also want to have a store or maybe run a business. |

I have a very successful lawnmowing and blacktop sealing business, with no college education. I only work 7 months out of the year. Its not a very big investment, either!
