I want to talk to people who are cool and are popular .How can i be like them?

Screw clothes and stuff like that. The only people you'll attract with that kind of crap are weak people that are in a constant battle to keeping up with everyone else that thinks clothes make a person. The only thing that makes them popular is the fact that they have everything you see advertised on TV, which pretty much means they're not popular, their clothes and car are popular.

As for being accepted, don't start using 4 letter words or smoking or doing drugs or jumping in the sack with everone. Be the one in the group that doesn't do those things. It's gives you a bit of quality character that helps you stand out, and you'll have no regrets later in life.

If you want to be accepted, don't over think what you should say or do, and don't get nervous and clam up when you're around other people. Be a normal person and be consistent with EVERYONE. That's the most important part. Treat everyone the same, and you'll stack up acquaintances, which will draw attention to you; therefore, attracting even more people, and a few of those people will turn out to be true friends you can depend on.

It's a really nice feeling when you know people value you enough, and feel comfortable enough with you to discuss important things that they would never discuss with anyone else. The only way to have those kinds of relationships is to have personal integrity because people are able to subconsciously detect whether they can trust you or not.

I'm not telling you any of this stuff because it sounds good, I'm telling you this because I have first hand experience. When I was in High School, I was the last person you'd think would have tons of "friends". My hair was 2 feet long when no other guy had long hair (It's over 4 feet long now), I wore shirts with holes in them, my shoes were worn out, I didn't have a car, etc., but I knew so many people, that kids from other high schools, that I didn't even know, knew who I was. I was Famous...and it was great.

The school I went to had an open campus and most of the students gathered outside, and I tell you, there's nothing like walking out of the main building and having 2 guys to your left, 2 guys to your right, 5 girls in a group in front of you, and 1 of your best buds out in the parking lot, calling you at the exact same time. The first time that happened, I thought I had won the lottery. I thought I was going to have to hire a secretary.

Man...those were the days.

And would you believe, the same thing can be carried over into the workplace. You can do the same things with your co-workers and customers, and you'll get the same results. It's pretty nice when you can go to work and you have no probelms with anyone, and since you're a sincere person, no one has any problems with you. It's also nice to know you have the ability to quickly disarm a crabby customer. You never have to deal with a demanding customer because you treat them with so much positive attention that they do a 180 and start to apologize for things they were going to say or do.

There's nothing like being a normal person, whether you look like it or not.

I hate to say it but the person who answered 1st had it right. Be yourself. Find common ground between people and yourself and then be yourself. NOBODY likes people who are fake.

Be yourself and everything else just kinda takes care of itself.

if you're trying to be cool..it won't work! and most of the people that think they're "cool" aren't...be yourself....

Cool, popular people are usually shallow enough to be bribed. :P

join sports and wear nice clothes throw good partys,dont stab people in the back and get a nice car

You reminded me of me until a couple of months ago I actually started being myself and woa I'm surprised ppl actually think I'm cool.

Be yourself, Sweetie and people will flock to you. Alot of people are like sheep, they need leaders. Lol They want someone to follow and keep them safe under their wing. Some are afraid to speak up for themselves, just have problems being a leader, or just shy. Everyone looks up to someone who is cool, fun, crazy, blunt, and knows how to have a good time. These people tend to be good people to follow to an extent but everyone has their own weaknesses.The things I'm good at, my friend could be scared of or not want to do. It all depends on who you are and what you're good at. Everyone is unique in they're own way. We look up to and admire the ones who have the strength that we don't have and want. We want to be more like that person, yet we are so afraid............. Afraid of rejection; of people laughing at us,looking down on us, and calling us a loser. I have a friend who is a terrific leader and I could definitely follow that person in my own shyness of adversity but then again, I am someone who is somewhat more advanced and experienced then they is in the dating field. Everyone has their weaknesses and strengths. Just be yourself and have fun!

Um just be yourself!!! why become something your not? It's better if you just be yourself. But if you want to talk to them, start a conv. and try to become friends.

If every one acted the same as the "Popular Ones", it would really be a boring place. You were made unique, why not stay that way. You have your own purpose, and if others can't see that it is their loss, not yours.

By accepting who you are in the inside, by finding hobbies and people that suit your needs and wants. Its not always good to be popular.

Be YOURSELF,don't try to be something you are not.You are cool and interesting,everybody has a story.BUT you can share what you think with your friends and speak up,and be a good listener.Don't worry about what people think of you.Just be YOU.Sometimes the "popular and cool "people are not what you think,sometimes it can lead you to trouble.You have to ask yourself ;Is it really worth it.

i think u should get stylish clothes or a makeover if ur ugly but if not just be ur self

er, just talk to them. Say hi or do them favors that will make them notice you. Just dont let them take advantage of you and show some authority so they know your not some lacky
