Stuffing envelopes, TV ads for buying trinkets to resell, etc is all scams, steer clear of all those QUICK MONEY MAKING IDEAS.
At home moms have a lot of choices actually...
1. You can start to ebay items and grow into an ebay store
2. You can sell Avon products
3. You can do <clears throat> sexual toy parties
4. You can do tupperware, china, etc parties
5. Here in Ohio is home of a Basket company, many moms are outside at home sales reps for them w/ parties
6. Baby sitting while others go to a 9-5 job
7. Pre-school type home schooling, finger painting, numbers, alphabet, songs, etc. Get child ready for kindergarden.
8. Web site design, site management, etc. Any local trade school should have night classes you can take for 1 quarter to learn enough to do this if do not know html, anymore its programs making the sites for you.
9. Misc. Web site. Build a web site that is free but then you get companies to place their banners on your web site for advertising. When a customer clicks a banner from your web site you get paid like 3 cents per click. Doesn't sound like much but if you make a decent site and get some traffic flow, those clicks can turn into hundreds of dollars per month and more.
10. Trade skills....sharpen lawn mower blades, sewing projects, seamstress, CPA, can't think of the name but the person who does the official seal on your car title, bank loans, etc.
11. Make candles and crafts from home and sell online, on ebay, local craft/trade shows, local stores.
12. Insurance paper pusher, many insurance companies, health, will hire people from their home to push papers and numbers on a computer.
These 12 should be a good place to get started. I have been self employed for 10 yrs now and I have no regrets. If you believe in yourself and your own abilities you can do this. The only thing to fear is fear itself as there is nothing to stop one from doing their own biz.
Good luck |
