Why do you have all these questions on asking us mom's who are successful?? You had an Avon question a while back, what happened with that? Did you find anyone in Canada to help you out with Avon?
I just answered a very similiar quesion a little while ago as well as everyone else.
What's going on here?
Plenty of different types of businesses to get involved in. Ones success will depend on what they do with their own business. No one else's. How much time and effort you put into a business will be the factor of it becoming successful.
Go through each one until you find the one that's right for you. |

What is it that you want to do? I assure you, your mind will quickly de-mush if you give it a chance.
The reason a lot of people get scammed when they first try to work at home is because they're looking for instant, high income. That's just not likely to happen.
Your first step is to decide whether you're looking for a work at home job or a home business. Most replies here will tell you about home business opportunities they're associated with.
I've done both. I did medical transcription for 3 years. It was a good job, but you have to get quality training first, and that's expensive. Now I run my own websites, have a lot more fun doing so, and earn similar money.
When it comes to running websites, you have a lot of options. A lot of people start free with Blogspot. The advantage is, of course, that it's free, but the disadvantage is that you have less control of your site. They can delete it if they so choose, and that does happen, generally for good reason. They aren't going to delete quality sites most of the time, after all.
Paying for hosting and a domain name is cheaper than many businesses are, and gives you a lot of flexibility. It's not stress-free (I'm dealing with major hosting issues right now, for example).
But what I love about running a website is the flexibility. I can go with almost any of my interests and probably find a good affiliate program to promote. There's AdSense for quick monetization. And I enjoy writing, so producing content is less of a headache for me than for other people.
Now if a job is more your speed, just as with any other career choice you need to look at your skills. You also need to learn how to avoid the scams, which are plentiful. The rule of thumb is, if they charge you to apply for the job, it's a scam. Businesses, on the other hand, may cost money.
There are a lot of options out there for work at home jobs. There are relatively few legitimate data entry companies out there, but they exist. There are customer service positions for those who have a quiet place to talk on the phone and can type well enough to enter orders. And of course many other options as well.
It all really comes down to you. What are you wanting to do? What will keep you going despite the lack of immediate supervision? What is going to bring in enough money, either immediately or in the long term? |
