If you are opening your parlor in your residence located in a residential community, chances are high that they will not want your business there.
You need to get a zoning permit first to make sure you can really operate your business where you want it. Otherwise, neighbors can file a complaint with the county -- e.g. too much comings and goings of cars, unwanted traffic, parking by the curbside, increased noise level in the neighborhood, etc. -- that the county can be forced to shut your business down.
You never know with neighbors. You may think they don't mind; they may not complain directly to your face but someone may be already calling the county to report you.

Massage parlor is all about rubbing in the right and the wrong way. So when the neighbors object invite them for a free massage and your job is done. Better still, for the inauguration, please invite your neighbors and give them all a good massage which they should remember for their life time. Also, invite the most influential person to inaugurate the shop for you. Most of your problem will be over. Good luck.
