however if you are charged more than the ticket says you can request that you pay the price the ticket shows. the shops normally agree but sometimes they are legally entitled to withdraw the product from sale temporarily. |

Unless the law has changed in recent years, goods for sale are marked with a price; this is described as "an offer to treat". In other words, the customer sees the item, sees the price and offers to buy it at the marked price. The purchaser is not forced to buy it nor is the seller forced to sell it; either can withdraw their offer.
If an item is mismarked then that is the price the purchaser pays, they should not expect to get it for nothing. |

No that would be stealing. I know a lad who did similar thing but on a car purchase. The dealer spotted the math error in the totting up an hour after the deal was done and contacted the buyer to advise of the mistake. The buyer took it all the way to court thinking he was in the right. The judge laughed him out of court called him for the thieving little git that he was and made him reimburse the seller £500 and he had to pay all court costs. So no its not free. |

No, a shop is a private business and can choose to serve you or not. |

i think the shop has the right to remove item from sale but most will honour the mistake and let you have it at the price at the till point but not free |

No. It not illegal to sell a roduct at a price LESS than advertised. But it is illegal to sell for MORE than the adveritsed price. |

i would not say you get it free, but you should get it at the price that came up. |

Are you in the UK? They don't do that here but I know they do in Australia, usually when it scans higher than the shelf price. |

afraid not ,like the old saying if its the price in the window then they have to give it to you for that price no way ,that's a myth also like one of the digits falls off the for sale sign in the car window
at the garage try getting that car off one of the dealers for the price I dont think so you may never drive again if you insist Know what I mean
