ladywiccana | If anyone on here does ebay! Do you go to the trouble of measuring garments, packing and weighing before? |
You list your items or is it just me that does that, I bet not lol?
Sorry if in wrong category! Additional Details I do too i always put 2/3 photo's on and if postage wrong i always give a refund! |

If you want to avoid the negative feedback you must !!! And even if you go to all of the trouble of having the most detailed and precise description there will always be someone that just can't read or understand it. My wife and I are Power Sellers and it never fails to amaze us the ridiculous questions that we get that are already answered on the listing. Keep up the good work it will pay off in the long run with happy customers and repeat business.
Sincerely,
Val |

yes i do, so the listing is correct
its easy to add the paypal packing note and an address label once a buyer is found |

Yes...deffo
Why?
You can probably make a bit more on the postage if you get it right
i reckon YOU have "lost out" on items youve sold.....
put the postagedown as £1.20 for example then found out that its gonna cost u £1.40 to send it - not even taking into account the cost of packaging it up.
become a Good Ebayer... and not a sloth! |

I always list everything as fully as possible.
Put yourself in the buyer's position. They cannot see the item itself only a photograph. Therefore,
1. Describe it as accurately as you can. Even including a description of buttons, pockets etc.
2. Measure it well. Under arm measurements, length etc.
3. Pack it well - if you can use tissue paper for a ladies garment, so much the better,
4. Weigh it so that you can put an accurate postage price in your advertisement.
All this may seem a bit of a bother, but if you aim to do well on eBay and want to continue, then this is the way to go.
Just think of your customer all the time. It pays to be fair and people will notice if you 'jack-up' the price of the postage. Just allow something for the cost of the packaging.
Put a sticker inside thanking them for their purchase and add your eBay trading name.
Best of luck. |

I do. I like people to know exactly what they would be paying for. It's only fair after all, plus you always receive good feedback. |

you must describe the article as much as you can, i always go to the post office to get the true cost of posting |

I always measure any garments, especially armpit to armpit, before I list it. It saves on the questions that interested buyers would ask. Plus, I have a scale at home, so I always weigh it and have it ready to ship once it is sold. I work full time, so these shortcuts just save me time in the long run. |
