go into the branch make a deposit.to open an account you will need to provide birth certificate, driving licence,utility bill in your name,they will open an account for you .give you the details of the account sort code etc for you to give to your employer so that your wages can be paid directly into your account.you will receive your bank card approx.5 working days later by post. |

Depends where are you located and which bank are you trying. but if you have your ID proof then it should be opened in a day. |

You will need a driver's license or state I.D. and a deposit to start your account (typically $100.) It starts up right away, but you probably will get only "starter checks" for the first week until the regular checks come in. Go to a bank where they don't require you to have any fees (except ALL banks charge money if you overdraw on your account... but you should ask what fees are associated with the accounts that they offer and also try to get one that you normally pass by.) |

you can get an account number right away if you have all the relevant documentation. you will need proof of identity, and proof of address. its takes a few days to get your card, chequebook etc. |

You can normally get the account number and sort code the same day - but you'll need at least two forms of ID with your address and pass a credit check.
Work won't need the details until nearer pay day, so if it's a couple of days late, don't worry... |

yes, you need 1 or 2 forms of official id. sometimes it is opened right away..for instance at the credit union i work for, we have an online application and you get an account number right away. It all depends on the bank/credit union you apply to |

You'll probably need photo ID (passport, drivers license etc) and two recent utility bills (dated within the last three months) although one may suffice.
The account, I would imagine would be open straight away but you wouldn't get your cash card etc. for a few days. |

go to nationwide with 2 forms of id. they will be able to give you sort codes and account numbers that day but it will take about 10 days for yourcard or passbook to come through. they usually like you to open it with a £1 opening balance too |

Most banks will open an account on the day that you see them. You will need to deposit £1 or more. I would take three forms of I.D., they need to be certain of your permanent address so include a slightly old utility bill if you can. Proof of employment might be helpful as well if its your first current account that you are opening. |

All you have to do is have some form of Official picture I.D, and some money (most banks charge $100) to open up a bank account. I believe it does take a few days before your account becomes active, but even if it didn't, you couldn't take any money out or do anything, because they have to mail you your ATM card which takes about a week or so. |
