Yes, the address you write on the back is basically only written if you are expecting a reply back from the person you sent to the letter to, these days not many people write theirs because of e-mails and the such. |

Yes, but if the letter doesn't get to it's destination you will never know. The purpose of the senders address on the envelope is just in case the letter doesn't make it to it's destination, it can be sent back to to sender. |
