Hmmm, something that everyone wants or needs, that no other shop sells...difficult. But, for me to corner a niche in the market, I would sell 2 items that would see me a millionaire by the end of the year:

1st product: A range of canoe paddles - for those that are always up s**t creek and don't have one.

2nd product: A small bottle with flavoured water - called "Hindsight", (underneath the title: "it's a wonderful thing!"

But I know you probably wanted something serious and business like, but you've got to admit - everyone needs these items in everyday life.

I would sell gorgeous clothes for curvy women that actually fit them properly and don't just look like larger sizes of clothes for slimmer people. I would have huge comfy sofas and a little coffee bar, great music playing, little bowls of sweets all over the place. Massive individual changing rooms with perfume and deodorants to use. Proper lighting and gorgeous little chaise longes in them. I would sell loads of great accessories too, like some of the amazing necklaces I have seen around the world. I would also ensure that all the girls I employed weren't skinny trendy pretty things that might actually put people off! They would be normal girls who just loved fashion and were actually there to help the customer.

I met a guy a long time ago and he said to me;
Boy, if you want to make money in this world, no matter how bad the economy is you must do 1 of 3 things.
Sell shoes-everyone needs to wear something on their feet no matter what the weather.
Sell food-everyone needs to eat.
Sell cards-everyone likes to send cards
This man went on to be the founder of Walmart !!!

Pushchairs and buggies and other baby products..... I've got a thing about buggies, don't know what it is....most women do handbags or shoes, not me, thankfully once my little fella has out grown the many buggies I have bought for him it will subside, much to my husbands relief.

Last year I went on holiday to Bexhill. It was hard to find any shop that was open, & when one did the proprietors tried to shut the door on seeing a customer approach.
I concluded that this town only needed a shop repairing "closed" signs.
