i think no matter how difficult the situation is...(financial problems) you should keep him home if you feel threatened, or that something bad might happen. If the weather is bad like a snowstorm as you mentioned, it would be best that he stays home because if anything happens, getting help would be difficult and also he wouldn't be able to work AFTER the snowstorm if god forbid something happens. just my opinion..hope that helped..best of luck |

i travel approximately 2 hour's a day to get to work. the wife gives me the weather report in the morning if she's concerned and i take it. sometimes i don't leave because of it. but never throw a fit,that makes it a challenge. |

Id tell him not to go unless you really need the money or hes going to do something that he has to do like hes a rescue working and out saving people or something like that otherwise id tell him not to go |

I guess it would depend on your individual situation and exactly how bad is the weather and road conditions? If you really and truly feel that it's not worth him going to work that day, just tell him that. At that point, the choice is his. If he goes, let him and pray for the best. If he stays, make it worth his while to stay home. But whatever he choose, remind him that you love him. |

I wouldn't want him to go..throwing a fit rarely solves anything. Have him call his employer and explain the situation to them. Guess it depends on what kind of work your husband does. |

I would beg him to stay home. Tell him that it is too dangerous and life is more important than work. And then when he goes anyways (which I know he would, unless it was super, super bad), I would pray and pray.
My husband commutes on a trecherous highway everyday to a high risk job. It sucks! I worry all the time. I just try to have some faith. Another thing I try to remember is that my husband usually has good judgement. |

I think it is his job- he knows what is expected of him to be there or not and what kind of wotk load he has. He is the only one who can make that decision.
You can state your concern and ask him- "can you work from home"- "do you have any pressing stuff that needs to get done"- "would they be mad if you called off". Ask the questions, have a conversation- but don't nag him. It's his job. |
