Tanning bed salon(probably cost a lot but all profit after that),.coffee shop,or a little bakery..You need think of what kind of talents or hobbies that interest you both and go from there,also check around your community and see what there is a need for. What types of stores are doing good or doing bad.And remember marketing is a must to survive in the business industry. |

I opened my own home business in the health and wellness industry because it was something I could do from home, and because I want the freedom to travel. If I owned a brick and mortar store, I would be too tied down and did not want to deal with employees not showing up and no one available to mind the business. I started this for under $200 and started earning an income on my 2nd day because it is a product people are definately looking for. I tell people about what this has done for myself as well as my family, and they order right away. It takes dedication, but salaries of $10k/mo are not unusual and I teach people how to reach those goals. |

Perhaps the standard idea of a small business should not be the only one you think of. Have you tried working from home with a legitimate company? I know from experience there are a lot of scams out there, but if you do your due diligence you will find the good ones. The reason I suggest this avenue is because you mentioned your daughter already has a full time job. Any standard business you start, you have to be there to run it, and time becomes a factor. I have worked from home with my wife for 6 years now with a great company that is not MLM.
