print out some flyers and post them around your neighborhood. maybe you just know someone in your neighborhood who has kids and go right up to their door and ask if they need a babysitter. ask around. maybe ask your mom to see if she has a friend who has kids |

Take a babysitters safety course through the community. Use that in a selling point for yourself. Make neighborhood flyers and distribute. Put some references on there. Your mom can pass the word around to friends and family and if you go to a church put a flyer up with tear off phone numbers with your name. |

I'm your age, and I babysit. Here's some ways I did it.
Take a Babysitters Class (I reccomend the Red Cross). Also, being certified in CPR is a HUGE plus!
Tell your neighbors. I'm sure they'll need a sitter eventually.
Advertise. Put up flyers, make business cards, ask your parents to tell their coworkers.
Talk to your teachers. They need babysitters too, and your parents are likely to trust them. (The only minus is that you can't watch them, like, in the summer, because a teacher is off in the summer, too)
Hope I helped! Good luck! |

well youre kind of young.. so most families wont let a young stranger watch their kid..
if you have a younger sibling, start there. ask your parents if you could baby sit for some cash and see if you can really handle watching a kid by yourself.
its tough stuff.
then if you think its right for you, you should start by going to families that already know you maybe in your neighbor hood or a friends younger sibling.
ask their parents if you could baby sit for a few hours for some cash.
work your way up and when you get a little more experienced next year, ask them if you could use them as a reference.
then you can start baby sitting other peoples kids for a higher price.
kids are hard to handle sometimes so make sure youre ready for anything.
good luck ! |

notify your neighbors that have kids
that you 13, and that you are
available to babysit. and then give
them your number.
simple really. |

I need a babysitter myself. Where do you live honey?
I would definitely ask my neighbors if they know of somebody who needs a babysitter. Parents always need one because there are places where you can't simply take your kids with you.
Good luck :D
If you are in Utah county I would need references but happy to try to offer you a couple of hours here and there. |

ask around your church if you go to one, and tell your parents to start asking coworkers if they need babysitting jobs, especially a regular one for the summer. |

try to start babysitting for family and then they will pass it on. If you dont have any little cousins then ask neighbors put up sign etc. Tell your parents where you are going to be and consider a cell phone if you dont have one all ready with all the craziness in the world going on. |

Let people in the neighborhood know. Also ask your parents to mention to their friends/family/co-workers that you would like to babysit. Not many people will trust their children to an inexperienced 13 year old. If you've taken any babysitting classes (like through the red cross) that would be a plus. I would not suggest that you babysit for a family that you don't know. |

You should make fliers stating you name, telephone #, etc. and post them in public places that have bulletin boards, such as libraries or coffee shops. Good Luck. |
